Options of restriction corruption in public procurement

This bachelor thesis deals with the problem of corruption in public procurement in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part characterises corruption, in terms of types and measurement and shows the negative effects on employment, direct foreign investment and state economy. The aim of this thesis is to describe how public procurement works in the Czech Republic, show its weaknesses (in particular those that invite corruption) and propose possible solutions to these problems. These solutions are designed to ensure greater transparency in public procurement and also to reduce inefficient and misallocated public expenditure.Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou korupce v oblasti veřejných zakázek v České republice. Teoretická část charakterizuje korupci, její druhy, možnosti jejího měření a ukazuje negativní dopad korupce na zaměstnanost, přímé zahraniční investice a na celou ekonomiku státu. Cílem této práce je popsat, jak funguje systém zadávání veřejných zakázek v České republice a pokusit se odhalit jeho slabá místa -- zejména ty, které umožňují vznik korupčního jednání a navrhnout možná řešení těchto problémů. Tato řešení mají zajistit větší transparentnost veřejných zakázek a zároveň omezit neefektivní a neúčelné vynakládání s penězi ze státního rozpočtu
