EU Common Agricultural Policy with a focus on France

This thesis deals with the EU Common Agricultural Policy, with particular focus on France. The main objective is to analyze the current development of the EU CAP and to assess the impact of the introduction of the CAP reforms on French agriculture. The first chapter briefly summarizes the historical development of the CAP since its inception until the early 90s. The second chapter lists the major reforms that have taken place since the early 90s until now, along with the main meaning. The third chapter is devoted to the characteristics of French agriculture, evaluates its development and impact of CAP on his current state. The French model of the CAP reform is described in the fourth chapter, which also mentions the rural development policy in France. The final chapter outlines possible future developments of the CAP, which takes into account the current problems of world agriculture and the interests of France.Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá Společnou zemědělskou politikou EU se zvláštním zaměřením na Francii. Hlavním cílem práce je analyzovat dosavadní vývoj SZP EU a posoudit vliv zavedení jednotlivých reforem na podobu francouzského zemědělství. První kapitola stručně shrnuje historický vývoj SZP od jejího vzniku do počátku 90. let. Druhá kapitola obsahuje výčet nejdůležitějších reforem, které proběhly od počátku 90. let až do současnosti, spolu s jejich hlavním vyzněním. Třetí kapitola je věnována charakteristice francouzského zemědělství, hodnotí jeho vývoj a vliv SZP na jeho podobu. Francouzský model reforem SZP je popsán ve čtvrté kapitole, která dále zmiňuje politiku rozvoje venkova ve Francii. Závěrečná kapitola nastiňuje možný budoucí vývoj SZP, kde bere v potaz současné problémy světového zemědělství a zájmy Francie
