Immigration in the Czech Republic, integration of migrants and diversity.

The aim of this thesis was to describe the problem of immigration and integration of migrants in the Czech Republic. The main part of the thesis focused on the migration policy. Information concerning immigrant's right to reside in the Czech Republic, Green card and Blue card programs were included. The development of immigration in the past few years was also mentioned. Another segment of this thesis was dedicated to integration of foreigners within the territory of the Czech Republic. Areas such as education and health care were examined, due to their importance in the integration process. Discussed topics further included activities of governmental and nongovernmental organizations and also public opinion in the matter of immigration.Smyslem této práce je popsání imigrace a integrace cizinců v České republice. Významná část práce se zaměřuje na migrační politiku ČR. Jsou zmiňovány podmínky pro povolení k pobytu cizinců, programy Zelených a Modrých karet, ale i vývoj imigrace v ČR v posledních letech. Další oddíl práce se věnuje integraci imigrantů, přičemž byla rozebrána především problematika vzdělávání a poskytování zdravotní péče. Zmíněny byly také aktivity státu při integraci cizinců, působení nestátních neziskových organizací a postoj české veřejnosti k imigraci
