The comparison of the consumer protection in the Czech republic and Germany

Nowadays, during the era of the international trade's liberalization, the efficient consumer protection is very important, especially to the advanced countries. The consumer policy is changing and developing continually in order to protect consumers sufficiently and not to restrain producers and dealers overmuch. At the beginning of my Bachelor thesis, fundamental terms and theory connected with the consumer protection is mentioned. The main part deals with the comparison of the consumer protection in the Czech Republic and Germany especially focused on the legal regulations and consumer policy institutions in both the countries. There is some information about the historical evolution of the consumer protection mentioned, as well. The last part includes summary of the important facts and distinctions between the solutions of the consumer protection in both the countries.Efektivně fungující ochrana spotřebitele je v současnosti, v době liberalizovaného mezinárodního obchodu, pro všechny vyspělé země velmi důležitá. Politika spojená s touto problematikou prochází neustálým vývojem a změnami tak, aby účinně a dostatečně chránila spotřebitele a zároveň nekladla nepřiměřené podmínky výrobcům a prodejcům. V úvodní kapitole své práci se věnuji základním pojmům a teoriím s touto problematikou spojeným. Stěžejní částí mé práce je pak srovnání řešení ochrany spotřebitele v České republice a v Německu, konkrétně se zaměřením na právní úpravu a instituce ochrany spotřebitele, zmíněn je též stručný přehled historického vývoje této problematiky v obou zemích. Poslední kapitola obsahuje shrnutí poznatků a rozdílů v řešení ochrany spotřebitele oběma zeměmi
