Business relations between The Czech Republic and Kenya with consideration of cultural differences

The aim of this work is to create a picture of relations between Kenya and The Czech Republic. I divided it into four chapters. The first talks about Kenya, its history and politics, the second is dedicated to Kenyan economy and its international trade. Relations with the Czech Republic are outlined in the third chapter. The fourth chapter deals with cultural differences which influence business negotiations with the Kenyans and for this reason it is important to know some basics. Finally countries are compared on the basis of Geert Hofstede cultural dimensions.Cílem práce je vytvořit obraz vztahů ČR s Keňou. Je rozdělena do 4 kapitol, první představuje Keňu, zabývá se její historií a politickou situací, druhá kapitola pojednává o současném ekonomickém vztahu země a jejím zahraničním obchodu. Ve třetí kapitole jsou nastíněny vztahy s ČR, zatímco v poslední kapitole jsou uvedeny největší kulturní rozdíly, které mají vliv na obchodní jednání.
