Position of the state castle of Hluboká in tourism of the Czech Republic

This Bachelor thesis characterizes the current situation of a large castle which is one of the most visited monuments in the Czech Republic on the example of the state castle of Hluboká. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the significance of tourism in the national economy, then it deals with general indicators of the Czech Republic and South Bohemian Region. Also the definition of cultural tourism and cultural tourist with its importance in the tourism in general is added to this part. The analysis is devided into several parts as well. At first it concerns an analysis from the historical point of view and there is a desciption of all the space on view. The next part closely deals with a marketing mix of the destination. The last part contains an analysis of the visitors during the past few years also in comparison to other competitors in the state. The information and data were collected from the web sites of the Czech Statistical Office, Czech National Bank, Regional Office of South Bohemian Region, Ministry of Culture and National Monumental Institute.Tato práce na příkladu státního zámku Hluboká charakterizuje současnou situaci velkého památkového objektu, který stabilně zaujímá jedno z předních míst v návštěvnosti mezi objekty v České republice. Teoretická část práce se soustředí na význam cestovního ruchu v národním hospodářství, poté se zaobírá obecnými ukazateli cestovního ruchu v České republice a Jihočeském kraji. Tato část je také doplněna definicí kulturně poznávacího cestovního ruchu a pojmu kulturní turista s důrazem na důležitost tohoto typu cestovního ruchu v kontextu cestovního ruchu obecně. Analytická část je také rozdělena do několika částí. Nejprve jde o rozbor z historického pohledu a o popis interiérů přístupných běžným návštěvníkům. V další části je podrobně rozebrán marketingový mix destinace. Poslední část analyzuje návštěvnost zámku v průběhu posledních let. Obsahuje též srovnání s jinými celorepublikově významnými konkurenty. Při zpracování práce byly použity údaje Českého statistického úřadu, České národní banky, Krajského úřadu Jihočeského kraje, ministerstva kultury a Národního památkového ústavu
