Project culture and its improvement

This thesis introduces the three types of culture. The goal of this thesis is to determine the main dimensions of project culture and show how to improve organizational or project culture through a questionnaire survey. Last but not least, the next goal is to describe all the steps that follow after the evaluation of questionnaire. The first part discusses the sense of culture and the kinds of culture. The beginning is about the national culture. The following chapter deals with corporate culture and its main characteristics. In terms of the main goals of this thesis, the end of this part focuses on the list of methods of improving organizational culture and specifics of project culture, including its characteristics and dimensions. The second part concerns about the introduction of the company and project, where the survey took place, including identifying the main features of corporate culture and core values of that company. Next chapters deal with the structure and evaluation of the questionnaire and activities that follow after the evaluation.Tato diplomová práce seznamuje čtenáře se třemi druhy kultur. Cílem práce je stanovit hlavní dimenze projektové kultury a prakticky ukázat použití jednoho z nástrojů na zlepšování firemní či projektové kultury, kterým je dotazníkové šetření. V neposlední řadě popsat všechny kroky, které po vyhodnocení dotazníku následují. První část pojednává o významu kultury a druzích kultur. Jako první je popisována národní kultura. Dále následuje kapitola věnující se firemní kultuře a jejím hlavním charakteristikám. Z hlediska hlavního cíle práce je v závěru této části uveden výčet metod zlepšování firemní kultury, a dále specifika kultury projektové, včetně jejích charakteristik a dimenzí. Druhá část je věnována představení společnosti a projektu, ve které dotazníkové šetření probíhalo, včetně vymezení hlavních rysů firemní kultury a hodnot této společnosti. Další kapitoly jsou věnovány struktuře dotazníku, vyhodnocení výsledků a činnostem, které následují po vyhodnocení dotazníkového šetření
