American mortgage crisis II

This graduation thesis focuses on analyzing the impact(s) of the recent American mortgage crisis. The main goal is to study measures that have been taken to overcome this crisis andv evaluate them. The thesis is divided into four parts. The aim of the first part is to quantify the size of the United States housing bubble. The second part brings in the estimates of losses to individual financial institutions in the USA. The third part concentrates on detailed analysis of the arrangements that have been used to overcome mortgage crisis and consequential financial crisis. The last part compares the measures taken in order to solve the recent crisis with the ones that had been taken to overcome the Great Depression.Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na analýzu dopadů americké hypotéční krize. Hlavním cílem je rozbor opatření, která byla postupně přijímána k překonání krize a jejich zhodnocení. Práce je členěna do čtyř kapitol. První část práce kvantifikuje velikost uměle vytvořené bubliny na trhu rezidenčních nemovitostí. V druhé části je následně uskutečněn odhad velikosti ztrát jednotlivých účastníků finančních trhů v USA. Třetí část práce je zaměřena na detailní rozbor opatření určených k překonání hypotéční, resp. následné finanční krize. Poslední kapitola této práce srovnává způsob řešení této krize s řešením použitým pro překlenutí Velké hospodářské krize ve třicátých letech dvacátého století
