Analisis Potensi Angin Keluaran Tapm (The Air Pollution Model) V. 3.1.7 Untuk Energi Angin Di Timika- Papua

Indonesia is an archipelago which has territorial waters at large and with a huge of wind sourcepotential. To make use of wind energy, it is make compulsory research of wind potential at aplace. In this study we selected the area for analyze the wind potential is Amamapare-TimikaPapua. From the results shows that wind speed in the observation area in each month wereobtained that the average of wind speed in the altitude 10 m, 25 m, and 50 m are (2-5) m/sec,(5-7) m/sec, and (7-12) m/sec respectively. This condition shows that the area of AmamapareTimikaPapua is potentially as the area of wind energy source, because for the necessity of windenergy with an excellent category, the minimal of wind speed is 4 m/sec. With the analyzing ofwind speed as the output of TAPM in one altitude and carried out of validation with theobservation data its shows a good results.Hal. 271-27
