On the Observation of the Working of a 4-unit Bridge or Over

A study was made of 33 bridges created for 25 new patients who had a 4-unit bridge or over sets at the Prosthetic Clinic of Matsumoto Dental College in 1974, 1977, 1980 and 1983. 1) The number of bridges with which patients were satisfied was 25, and the number of those who were dissatisfied for various reasons was eight. 2) Judging from the cases, 9 bridges worked well and the rest did not. 3) After 5 out of 24 bridges had been removed, they were repaired or replaced by new bridges or partial dentures
