This research aims to describe the effectiveness of problem solving learning model to improve predicting and inferring skills in teaching electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions with redoks subject. This reseach uses Quasi Experimental Method and Non-Equivalent Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. The sample of this reseach are even semester students in class X6dan X7 MAN 1 Bandar Lampung in academic year 2012-2013 that used purposive sampling technique. The effectiveness of problem solving learning model was measured based on significant N-gain improvements and t test.
