ABSTRACT PENGARUH RUANG TERBUKA HIJAUTERHADAP KENYAMANAN KOTA(STUDI KASUS KOTA MALANG TAHUN 2016)Muhammad FahriUniversitas Negeri MalangFakultas Ilmu SosialE-mail: muhammadfahri1294@gmail.comA width open green space of Malang has decreasedeach year, covering an area of 8824.9 ha in 1984, the year of 2003 to5729.2 ha, in 2008 decreased to 4911.3 ha, and in 2014 into 4954.51ha. Based on the foregoing, the research is intended to find out therelationship between the width open green space towards the comfortof a city is measured with air temperature and air humidity as part inmaintaining the convenience of the city to be used as a place to live.The study was designed with the survey in the method of sampling airtemperature and air humidity and has the purpose of analyzing spatialtemporal patterns of temperature of air and humidity, analyzing thepattern of distribution of open green space, and the analysis of thecorrelation between the open green space with the comfort of the city.Determination of the number of samples that will be used isdetermined by the sampling grid technique. There are two analysis tobe used is the analysis of spatial and remote sensing. Spearmanstatistics test used to test the relationship between the open greenspace with the convenience of the city. Research results show that thewidth of open green space in 2016 of 4417.79 ha which means declinefrom 2014. Based on statistical tests spearman, of open green spaceaffect the value of the convenience and value of correlation andinversely proportional to the value of discomfort index.Keywords: Humidity, Comfort of the City, Land Built up, Open Green Space, Air Temperature
