Thames through Time 4 presents the final episode of the Thames through Time series, taking the story of the Thames Valley through the second millennium from the period leading to the Norman Conquest to the beginning of the 21st century. Following previous volumes, Thames through Time 4 continues to highlight the important archaeological discoveries made in the region and synthesises these with the region's rich historical background to provide a new narrative of the medieval to post-medieval period in the Thames Valley.
