Competências do enfermeiro coordenador de cursos de graduação em enfermagem: um estudo paulista

The coordination of Graduate Courses in Nursing has provided to the nurse a segment on the basis of the increase in the number of schools in the country for the past twenty years. The professional who occupies this position performs a series of actions and a Skills Profile (PC) can contribute to the improvement of this work process. Objectives: proposing a PC for Nurses Coordinators of Nursing Graduate Programs, build this PC and validate with judges; and identify the PC of nurses coordinators of graduate courses in nursing schools in São Paulo, from the optics of these. Method: this is a methodological, exploratory study of a quantitative nature developed in institutions of higher education in the State of São Paulo, Brazil. The PC was built and has the educational, administrative and individual domains. Underwent pre-test and then validated by 21 specialists in 1st semester of 2014 with values between 0,79 and 0,88 for Cronbach's Alpha in the fields in it. The PC obtained scores considered good interpretation in the index of content Validity and trust Index. At the end of this step was forwarded to 44 courses of coordinators from São Paulo, totaling 62 affirmative educational domains with us distributed 20 items, 22 administrative and individual with 20. Results: the characterization of coordinators revealed that the majority is made up of women, between 31 and 50 years of age, married and with an average training time of 22,5 years, has lato sensu, and 86% are masters and 50% doctors. Most acts in private colleges; have an employment relationship and time to coordinating until 5 years. The best correlation for dispersion diagram of Pearson was among the educational and administrative domains. The Cronbach's alpha test ranged from 0,867 and 0,909 and having the best scores the educational domain. The total variance of factorial analysis data obtained scores above 70% being the administrative domain that presented the best score. The KMO coefficient ranged from 0,583 and 0,675 representing the appropriateness of the sample having been complemented by Bartlett's sphericity test with value of <0,001. Conclusion: this study allowed for the construction of a PC for nurses coordinators of graduate courses in nursing with the administrative, educational and individual domains having been validated by judges showing appropriate. The application of PC along these nurses-coordinators showed that educational and administrative fields the largest self-assessment with scores considered satisfactory. O profissional que ocupa esse cargo desempenha uma série de ações e um Perfil de Competências (PC) pode contribuir com o aprimoramento deste processo de trabalho. Objetivos: propor um PC para Enfermeiros Coordenadores de Cursos de Graduação em Enfermagem e validar com juízes; e identificar o PC dos Enfermeiros Coordenadores de Cursos de Graduação em Enfermagem de escolas paulistas, a partir das óticas destes. Método: trata-se de um estudo metodológico, exploratório de natureza quantitativa, desenvolvido em instituições de ensino superior no estado de São Paulo. O PC foi submetido ao pré-teste e, a seguir, validado por 21 especialistas no 1°semestre de 2014 com valores entre 0.79 e 0,88 pelo alfa de Cronbach nos domínios que o compõe. O PC obteve escores considerados de boa interpretação no Índice de Validade de Conteúdo e Índice de Fidedignidade. Ao término dessa etapa foi encaminhado aos coordenadores de cursos paulistas.Resultados: O PC foi construído e apresenta os domínios educacional com 20 itens, administrativo com 22 e individual com 20 totalizando 62 afirmativas. Foi auto-aplicado por 44 coordenadores cuja maioria era de mulheres, entre 31 e 50 anos de idade, casadas e com tempo de formação em média de 22,5 anos, tem pós-graduação lato sensu e, 86% mestres e 50% doutores. A maior parte atua em faculdades privadas, possuem um vínculo empregatício e tem tempo de coordenação de até 5 anos. A melhor correlação pelo diagrama de dispersão de Pearson foi entre os domínios educacional e administrativo. O teste de alfa de Cronbach variou entre 0.867 e 0.909 tendo o melhor escore o domínio educacional. A variância total dos dados pela análise fatorial obteve escores acima de 70% sendo o domínio administrativo que apresentou a melhor pontuação.
