Background - This is a work for solo piano of approximately 11 minutes duration for professional standard performers. It is an original composition score commercially available through the Australian Music Centre, the National representative body for Australian contemporary music. Contribution - The cultural contribution of this work lies in its development of new contemporary literature for piano at a professional standard, most particularly to solo repertoire. The work employs idiomatic pianistic techniques and contemporary "extended' techniques for the instrument, based on a thorough background and knowledge of piano performance.
