While various researchers have put forward complex models to aid in understanding and managing the process of voluntary labour turnover for many firms it is the exit interview that often provides the only relevant and practical method for understanding the phenomenon. This paper set outs to find out how useful the exit interview is in understanding the voluntary labour turnover. To do this the researchers have undertaken an exploratory case study within a professional publishing firm that has business operations within five countries throughout the Asia Pacific region.
