December 2nd, 2014.Cloud computing offers the possibility for Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) to offload computation and utilise large stored data sets in order to increase the overall system utility. However, for cloud platforms and applications to be effective for CPS, they need to exhibit real-time behaviour so that some level of performance can be guaranteed to the CPS.
