A superior Solar Thermal Panel system incorporating weather predictions from the MET Office is described. It is found that modeling consumption patterns of domestic hot water use to be aligned with weather patterns results in an advantagegous use of resources. Additionally, semi-structured interviews with the main actors within the solar thermal market are conducted. Focus groups with members of the public are also conducted to determin the main drivers and inhibitors to this technolog being widely adopted in the UK.
