Flexibel profilierte Vorformen für das Innenhochdruck-Umformen

Der Artikel beschreibt die Herstellung und Charakterisierung von Vorformen für die Innenhochdruck-Umformung (IHU) mittels flexiblen Walzprofilierens und belegt die Machbarkeit einer solchen Prozesskette durch Anwendung auf ein Demonstratorbauteil. Die beim flexiblen Walzprofilieren entstehenden, entlang der Profillängsachse veränderlichen Querschnitte erweitern dabei signifikant die bisher gültigen Grenzen der Formgebung in der IHU. The article describes the manufacturing and characterization of pre-forms for tube hydroforming by means of flexible roll forming. Cross sections of profiles produced by flexible roll forming vary along the rolling direction. The use of such profiles as pre-forms for hydroforming allows for a significant extension of existing forming limits. The feasibility of the proposed process-chain is demonstrated by the production of a demonstrator part
