Here are presented discussions that took place in an interactive teacher formation group focused on the production and development of a curricular innovation called Study Situation (SS). The aim of the proposal is to break with the traditional teaching model, in which students are seen as static objects that are isolated from their cultural and social environment, with no choice of voice. In order to contribute with overcoming this situation, a research in action process was developed involving teachers and undergraduates at a Brazilian university, and Elementary Education teachers and students to develop the SS: Drugs – effects and consequences in human beings, as well as analyzing its potential and limitations to build an integrated curri...
