Reading comprehension is an interaction between the reader and the text. This interaction is the major factor that plays the most important role in comprehension. Accordingly, the selection of texts is a primary importance for readers, especially for the students. This study entitles “Using Fable Texts in Teaching Reading Comprehension”. The aims of this research are to figure out the use of fable texts in improving students’ reading comprehension skills and to find out students’ difficulties in learning reading comprehension using fable texts.
