Up to 75% of individuals with incomplete spinal cord injury (SCI) experience at least one fall each year. Reactive stepping is one strategy used to prevent falls. Our objective was to describe reactive stepping ability of individuals with incomplete SCI compared to able-bodied adults. Forty-two individuals participated (17 with incomplete SCI). Participants adopted a forward lean position whilst attached to a rigid structure through a horizontal cable positioned at waist height.
