A study of existing research shows a need for an investigation of the tensile and bond properties of glass fiber-reinforced polymer (GFRP) bars at low and high temperatures varying between about -40oC and glass transition temperature. Study of the response of GFRP bond members at various temperatures is also essential for understanding the bond behaviour of GFRP-reinforced structural members. For this study, 55 tensile test specimens and forty cylinders reinforced with GFRP were constructed and tested under direct tension and standard pullout bond test, respectively.
