With mind to performing high level performance analysis, a player testing technique has been developed specifically for use with players in competition and practice. Features include the use of only two cameras, minimal intrusion of the player's environment, high levels of portability and full 3D recording. Testing is performed using two Phantom V4.2 high speed video cameras operating at 1000 frames per second. Racket movement is tracked using five low mass (<2 g) reflective markers attached at specific points on the player's racket, the ball is tracked as a single point.
