The purpose of this work was evaluate with small plantain producers of the Yaracuy state, the behavior of plantain (Musa AAB cv. Subgroup Horn plantain), in high plant density . Cormos of ′Hartσn Gigante′, were planted in both double row with one and two plants per site and single rows with one and three plants per site. The populations established were: 1458 (T1), 1750 (T2), 2916 (T3), 3300 (T4), y 1100 plant ha -1 (T5), traditional system.
