We present a theoretical study of reversible supramolecular polymers near an adsorbing surface. Mean chain lengths for free and adsorbed supramolecular polymers were calculated for a broad range of concentrations. As far as we know, this is the first report that describes a regime where the mean chain length decreases with increasing monomer concentration. It is shown that this anomalous behavior is caused by a change of the structure of the adsorbed laye
