The first object of this study is to consider ground surface displacements that occurred due to Philippine Sea Plate movements in the adjacent area of Huatung Valley in Taiwan. In order to clarify the activity of Crustal Deformation in this area, we have previously performed repeat-pass Differential SAR Interferometry (D-InSAR) to estimate and then evaluate the displacement values by geodetic levelling measurements. According to these previous results using successful ENVISAT/ASAR data, the displacement values ranged between -1.5 cm and +2.8 cm, which coincide on the active fault area.
