This paper contributes a novel service component framework enabling development of interoperable and modular service oriented applications in gateway based pervasive computing environments. The research problem adressed in the paper is how to enable integration, interoperability and modularity of technologically heterogeneous software services in distributed pervasive computing environments. The research problem is addressed by proposing a service component framework introducing an integration layer for heterogeneous service oriented software technologies. The novelty of the proposed solution is its capability to enable interoperable registration, discovery, binding and interaction of software services implemented in multiple different serv...
