Graphene was first isolated in 2004 and since numerous application concepts based on graphene have been demonstrated. Graphene has been recognized from the very beginning as a promising candidate for future radio electronics because graphene shows high carrier mobility, excellent mechanical and thermal stability, superior thermal conductivity and exceptional resistance to electro migration. Experimental results from transport measurements show that graphene has a remarkably high mobility at room temperature, with reported values in excess of 106 cm2·V?1·s?1.
