Based on an analysis of factors influencing energy-efficiency behaviour the project studied the effectiveness of energy labels or energy audit reports in relation to the motivation to the energy related repairs. It focused on drivers and barriers to energy efficiency renovations. The following items were studied: energy efficiency issues when buying home, energy efficiency issues when improving home, and the role of EPC in the process of energy efficiency improvements. Information, advice and support are crucial for the implementation of energy efficiency measures in homes.
