The aim of this multiple-case study is to extend our understanding of business network management, especially from the viewpoint of B2B companies operating in multiple network contexts. Dynamics in networks are created through the intended and emergent actions of network actors, and in order to manage actors and their activities within a dynamic business network setting, managers need to understand the "network picture" of their company and the network perceptions and interests that the other actors have. We present a multiple case study where network picturing was utilized as a boundary-spanning tool to grasp these aspects
