Finnish experiences of the Framework Programmes

In Finland, several studies have been carried out at the VTT Group for Technology Studies on the national impacts of the EU Framework Programme. In general, the studies have shown many positive outcomes. Finns have been very active in joining research proposals with their European partners and have been successful in obtaining money. The Framework Programme has effectively promoted cross-sector and cross-country collaboration. Overall, the EU projects undertaken have generally been judged to be of a high standard
