Weak Signals in Social Media:Report on Two Workshop Experiments in Futures Monitoring

Report presents the key results of two workshops on weak signals in the social media and, more generally, in the context of digital world. These workshops were organised within a project called Social Media in the crossroads of physical, digital and virtual worlds (SOMED). In the workshops, weak signals were identified via the Futures Window method. The method is described in the report and the outcomes of the workshops are presented. The material of the report is intended to be further analysed when seeking new opportunities and business models for social media
