Grid Computing represents the frontier of scientific calculation. This new technology, in fact, allows to simulate within high precision many different complex systems by making use of vast supercomputer nets. The 2005 EGC edition has supplied an overview on the current European and extra-European Grid projects and has shown the main lines to be followed in the future works.
