Landscape III is a reworking of a 1970 composition of the composer. It employs thematic and harmonic materials derived from his 20th century studies for two violins. The solo part (Soprano or Tenor Saxophone) is full of ornamentations and virtuoso passages. Landscape III is dedicated to the Greek saxophone virtuoso Theofilos Sotiriades
