The orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) became the most important technology of the wireless broadband communications system because it achieves high data transmission and is robust to the frequency selective fading channel. However, the major disadvantage of this technology is a high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) because it causes signal distortion and high energy consumption.
