An intermediate Motion Control Language for Mobile Robots (MCLMR) has been suggested to speed up development of autonomous vehicle applications. Elementary motion control commands and activation commands for complex functions utilising several sensing systems have been established. Production control systems can easily use MCMLR to command a fleet of autonomous vehicles with reduced amount of communication. The set of commands covers also the case of entering and performing tasks in coarsely known buildings. Natural environment could also be covered with limited efforts.
