The objectives of this study were to find out whether or not there is a significant improvement before and after the treatment on the eighth grade students’ narrative reading comprehension of SMP PTI Pakjo Palembang. There were 60 students taken as a population of the study was the eighth grade students of SMP PTI Pakjo Palembang. In this study, the writer used Quasi Experimental Design using pretest-posttest nonequivalent groups design. There were 60 students taken as sample.
