This research aims to improve the activity and results of student learning about the physics concept by implementing cooperative learning model types think pair share (TPS) was accompanied by practical method of against the students of class XI IPA 3 MAN 1 Jember on lesson year 2014/2015, with 29 students number of students consisting of 6 men and 23 women.
