This study will examine (1) How is the expression of elemental analysis indirectSerumpun Ayat-Ayat Tuhan poem Iberamsyah Barbary work? (2) How heuristic and hermeneuticreading in rhyme Serumpun Ayat-Ayat Tuhan poem Iberamsyah Barbary work? (3) How matrices,models, and variants in rhyme Serumpun Ayat-Ayat Tuhan poem Iberamsyah Barbary work? (4) Howis the relationship intertextuality rhyme Serumpun Ayat-Ayat Tuhan poem Iberamsyah Barbary work?He approach used in this study is a semiotic approach. This was done considering that the semiotic is anapproach that emphasizes the aspect of extracting the meaning of the sign in a literary work. Semioticapproach that will be used is semiotic model of Michael Riffaterre. Riffaterre models used semioticapproach based on the consideration that the semiotic Riffaterre more specialized in the analysis of themeaning of a literary work with the interpretation of the reader. In this study, which becomes the data arewords, phrases, and sentences in rhyme Serumpun Ayat-Ayat Tuhan poem Iberamsyah Barbary work.The results showed that the expression indirect element found the words, phrases, and sentences which isa form of replacement sense, meaning irregularities, and the creation of meaning. At this stage of heuristicreadings found meanings that are not grammatical; not integrated. However, after reading it hermenutikdone then discovered the meanings contained in the poem, concerning the content, goals, and objectives.Matrix, models, and variants are at the core of the meaning contained in the poem. Determination ofthe matrix, models and variants is important to understand the full meaning. Intertextual relationshiprhyme Serumpun Ayat-Ayat Tuhan poem helps to find understanding of the meaning of the poem ismore leverage.
