This is a landscape of Saint Anthony Falls over the Mississippi River in Minneapolis. Mississippi River is the symbol of hydrology throughout the history of the United States. It runs along 10 states from Minnesota to Louisiana, and defines several state borders. The longest one in the country with the highest average discharge. The largest fall on this river happens right here at Upper Saint Anthony Lock and Dam.
