The analysis conducted in this study gives strong indications that the three groups of hog producers investigated differ among each other not only in terms of the characteristics of the operator and of the business, but also in terms of performance. Also, the study reveals a positive association between producers' attitude towards the information received (which includes the performance report) and the attitude towards the rewards received (premiums and discounts).
