Themes emerging from the cross-case analysis include (a) detached inner relationship vs. stronger bond with English and (b) higher vs. lower flexibility in adaptation. The study concludes with a discussion of the conceptual, methodological, and pedagogical implications and recommendations for future research and instruction.U of I OnlyRestricted to the U of I community idenfinitely during batch ingest of legacy ETD
