The Spiritual Superintendent: An Exploratory Inquiry Into the Existence of a Spiritual Dimension in Selected Superintendents' Leadership

171 p.Thesis (Ed.D.)--University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, 2001.Data for the study were collected from multiple in-depth interviews with the two selected superintendents and additional documents were studied to determine to what extent the notion of a spiritual dimension existed in the leadership style of the subjects. The study findings showed that a spiritual dimension did exist in the leadership style of the subjects studied and that such a dimension had a significant impact upon their leadership style.
