To obtain a detectable autoradiographic signal, carrier-free ('125)I-CTP prepared by the method of Ward (unpublished), and was incorporated into complementary RNA (cRNA) probes by in vitro transcription of recombinant plasmids containing eucaryotic gene sequences.
