This paper deals with the problem of coherence in explanatory texts. The model which has been presented gives a set of evaluation criteria in order to establish the level of coherence which has been reached by a certain text, to check whether such level is adequate and to increase the level of coherence if such is not the case by using the guidelines proposed by the computational model.published or submitted for publicationis peer reviewe
