The World Wide Web has moved to a place where people can build virtual applications by drawing data and functionalities from a number of other sources on the Word Wide Web. In other words: the Web 2.0 is about sharing code, content, and ideas. For several years the implementation and implication of Web 2.0 tools have been included in discussions about ways to support interdisciplinary research.
