The point of this project was to discover the reason why some Korean American families supported interracial relationshiops while other, seemingly similar Korean American families discourage it. In answering that question we also learn about Korean culture to discover why some discourage/encourage interracial relationships. To collect data I interviewed many Korean Americans who attend University of Illinois. I specificaly sought out those with particular interesting stories to use as examples. I also attended several Christian dating seminars at a Korean Church to provide backround information.
