KEEFEKTIFAN KALIMAT PADA TAJUK RENCANA SURAT KABAR LAMPUNG POST MARET 2015

The problem in this research was the use of effective sentences in editorials on daily newspaper of Lampung Post on March 2015. The aim of this research was to describe the use of effective sentences in editorials on daily newspaper Lampung Post on March 2015 from March 2nd, 2015 to March 31st, 2015. The method in this research was descriptive method. The writer decided that 16 of editorial texts as sources of data. The data collecting technique in this research was to identify the effective sentences in editorial based on indicators of effective sentence indicators. Based on the result of data analysis, it can be informed that the sentences of editorial texts are 410 sentences, it is found the effective sentences are 142 with percentage of 34,64%, and uneffective sentences are 268 sentences with percentage of 65,36%.Permasalahan yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah penggunaan kalimat efektif pada tajuk rencana surat kabar harian Lampung Post edisi Maret 2015. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan kalimat efektif pada tajuk rencana surat kabar harian Lampung Post edisi Maret 2015, dari 2 Maret s.d. 31 Maret 2015. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitis. Penulis menetapkan 16 teks tajuk rencana sebagai sumber data yang akan diteliti. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara mengidentifikasi keefektifan kalimat berdasarkan indikator keefektifan kalimat. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diketahui jumlah kalimat yang dianalisis sebanyak 410 kalimat, penggunaan kalimat efektif sebanyak 142 kalimat dengan persentase 34,64%, dan penggunaan kalimat tidak efektif sebanyak 268 kalimat dengan persentase 65,36%.Kata kunci : kalimat, teks, penggunaan
