ABSTRACTThis study was conducted to evaluate the chest and abdominal ultrasonography findings in patients with dengue viral infection in dr.Soetomo General Hospital. This study is a descriptive, cross-sectional study with consecutive sampling. It done from February toApril 2012. Samples were 33 pediatric patients and 25 adult patients diagnosed as dengue fever and dengue hemorrhargic feveraccording to WHO 1997 criteria underwent chest and abdominal ultrasonography on the first day of admission.
